How does it work?
Women's Lykan Half Zip is a unique, textured yard, achieving an extremely soft, light and stretchy material with a fuzzy texture. The light, open and super soft material is ideal for high activity insulation. It has a level of breathability, warmth-to-weight ratio and comfort that traditional insulation garments simply cannot compete with. It is highly moisture wicking and can be worn both as a first layer next to skin or as a second, thermal layer. The open, lofty and airy structure provides great insulation when you wear a protective layer over it, and instantly allows excess heat and moisture out when you open up to ventilate.
This knitting produces next to zero waste as we don’t cut any fabrics and the recycled and recyclable polyester yarn allows a fully circular garment lifespan. Performance and sustainability innovation often go hand in hand.
When should I use it?
Women's Lykan Crew is perfect for high intensity activities in cold weather: Ski touring, hiking, running or other forms of outdoor training. The superior breathability will keep you warm without getting overheated and the stretchy knit provides unhindered freedom of movement. The high zippered collar features a slightly thicker rib knit which provides a little bit of extra warmth just where you need it and allows for quick and easy ventilation.
